This site is run by Republic NOLA for Emo Night New Orleans. This page describes what the site actually does. Questions: james@republicnola.com.

Merch orders

When you order, we keep the items, sizes, totals, your name and email, and a pickup code so the box office can hand over your order. Card payments are handled by Stripe inside the checkout form; we never see or store your card number. Order records are stored in our database hosted on Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase).

Emails

Order confirmations and pickup receipts are sent through Resend from orders@emo.republicnola.com. We only email you about your order — no newsletters from this site.

Visit counts

To see which pages and designs people look at, the site records simple events: page viewed, ticket link clicked, product viewed, added to cart, and checkout started. Each event stores the page path, the product (if any), the time, and a random ID that lasts only while your browser tab is open. We don’t store your IP address, browser details, search terms or order links, and we don’t use advertising pixels. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we record nothing. If you turn analytics off in “Analytics choices”, we record nothing either. The hosting platform (Lovable) also keeps aggregate visitor statistics.

Google Analytics

On public pages we also send the same simple events to Republic NOLA’s Google Analytics, which sets Google cookies. We send only the public page address (never order links, search terms or your details), with Google signals and ad personalization turned off. Nothing from checkout or your order is sent to Google. It is never used on sign-in, admin or order pages, and stays off if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Turn it off anytime with “Analytics choices” in the footer; that choice is remembered and also stops our own counts. Google’s privacy policy.

Your cart

Your cart is saved only in your own browser (local storage) until you check out.

Staff sign-in

The shop admin area uses Google sign-in for Republic staff only. Customers don’t need an account.

Tickets

Event tickets are sold by Tixr on their own site under their own privacy policy.
